I was at work the other day, having a pretty average day, when suddenly this arrived. This ^. This heavenly 38-piece sushi selection from SUSHISHOP, full of tuna and teriyaki salmon nigiri, vegetable hand rolls, tuna and truffle mayo California rolls and the most electrifying wasabi I’ve ever tasted – the type that makes you need to spend a minute with your forehead on the desk when you’ve dabbed on a little too much. Whilst I wouldn’t say I’m a huge sushi connoisseur, I’m definitely a big fan, and I can say with confidence that this was some of the best I’ve tried. And hands down the best takeaway sushi I’ve had. You’ll say the same when you’ve tried the tuna and truffle combo (I scoffed all 6 of those).
I couldn’t finish the whole box (38 pieces? That would be obscene) so I shared it with some of the girls in the office, who agreed, it was bloody good sushi. This particular box, The London Box, is a new launch and costs £45. Now I’m not one to spend £45 on lunch at my desk (again, that would be obscene), but seeing as this box can easily do 2 or 3 people, £15 ain’t so bad at all. Imagine how happy your partner would be if you got home and pulled this out of your bag for dinner? Or better yet, sharing it in the park with a bottle of Prosecco? Dreamiest. Picnic. Ever.
