I haven’t done a post like this in a while, so I thought I’d go ahead share a few new bits and pieces I’ve got recently that I’m really bloody loving. If you follow along on Insta, chances are you’ll have already seen them but I wanted to give them a little more airtime on here. So here goes…
cambridge satchel co. saddle bag
I’ve been looking for the perfect ‘day bag’ that doesn’t cost the earth for yonks and I finally found it in the form of this gorgeous Cambridge Satchel Co. saddle bag, after seeing it on my friend, Kim. It’s all leather and has gorgeous brushed brass details that I think make it look way more expensive than it is. It’s perfectly sized to carry your wallet, phone, keys and portable charger. Perfecto!
kiehl’s skin rescuer
A super new addition to my skin care regime but a product that I’m really in to, Kiehl’s Skin Rescuer is a light moisturiser designed specifically for stressed, fatigued and dehydrated skin, and yep, I’m pretty much all of those. I’ve been using it day and night and my skin is feeling really soft and visibly glowier.
I, like the rest of the planet, am a big fan of Missoma jewellery and I’ve had my eye on these malachite dagger earrings for a while. Finally got them and I’ve worn them almost every day since — they’re super delicate but make even the most lazy, post-gym outfit look somewhat polished. Those and a red lip and you’re good to go! They are gold-plated but i’m really careful to take them out when I’m showering and washing my face as I want them to stay gold gold.
free soul protein powder
I’m forever changing my protein powders, trying to find a version I actually like the taste of and I think I’ve finally, finally, met my match with the Free Soul Vegan Protein powder. It uses a combo of pea and hemp protein, and not only am I obsessed with its millennial-pink packaging, but the fact that it’s got other good stuff in it too that’s specifically designed to help women’s hormone balance and mood (because jeez, I’ll take all the help I can there!). I’m blending it into smoothies most mornings, either as well as or in place of hemp seeds.
garmin forerunner 235
I’m going to do a bigger post on sports watches soon as I’ve been trialling a couple, but the one I’m really invested in is the Garmin Forerunner 235, and it’s for several reasons. Firstly, it’s intuitive and mega easy to use. You can link it up to your phone and Nike Run Club app easily so can compile all your data and leave your phone at home when you run. The battery life is great, and it’s super slimline so sits comfortable and snugly on your wrist, unlike so many bulky ones. I’d say a sports watch is only really worth investing in if you’re a regular runner focusing on long-distance or speed, but I’d definitely strongly recommend the Forerunner 235 if you are on the hunt…
moons and junes lingerie
I got sent this gorgeous set of undies from Copenhagen-label, Moons and Junes, and I’m so into it. I’m that person who takes their bra off and changes into comfy pants as soon as I walk through the front door, but this set is ultra-comfy, I would genuinely happily leave it on. Non-wired, non-padded, and in the lightest, softest mesh, it’s so comfy, I swear you can barely tell you’re wearing it. I love the rust colour too and the low scoop shape. FAN!
Now this one isn’t actually new, but I’m always getting messages about it so I thought I’d add it to the list. My favourite tee (because I can’t actually afford a Supreme one) is this awesome Namaste t-shirt from Aussie store, Lifestyle Merchants. With jeans, big fan.
