I am a freelance travel writer, blogger and PR & Communications Manager at The Hoxton. Life is...busy. I grew up in leafy Cheshire, went to university in Leeds, and have lived and worked in both New York and Sydney. I now live in South London with my partner Ed, and love running and travelling.
I travelled a lot en famille as a kid which obviously sewed the seed. Now, there's nothing that makes me happier than landing in a new place and roaming free for a few days with Ed. Istanbul is my favourite place so far, Amsterdam and Gothenburg are also up there as top cities, Bali is breathtaking, Iceland is other-worldly, and Peru remains at the top of my bucket list. As I work full-time, at this point of my life a lot of my travels are squeezed into long weekends — I don't mind it though, guess it makes me more creative with my plans! If you'd like to get in touch, I'd love to hear from you, my email is at the bottom.
Prior to my job at The Hoxton I was a full-time journalist and cut my teeth in the fashion and beauty world. Now, I write on a regular freelance basis, predominantly about travel, for Grazia, BA Highlife, Travel + Leisure, ELLE, StyleNest, Refinery29, and The Telegraph. If you'd like to get in touch about writing or would like to pitch an idea, I'd love to hear from you, my email is below.
I work full-time at The Hoxton doing the PR and social media for the brand's 3 hotels so far. I love my job and I love the brand — if you haven't been to The Hoxton, GO! If you'd like to contact me about The Hoxton, I'm at email@example.com
Fitness is a big part of my life; I run with Run Dem Crew, swim with Swim Dem Crew, and train regularly at Fitness First. I cycle to work most days on my Mango bike, I love trying new classes (secretly obsessed with Zumba), and am always on the hunt for my next half marathon.
